- Lantronix device servers such as XPort and UDS series provide a Telnet-based Setup Mode on TCP 9999 for configuration.
- Aprelium Abyss Web Server’s administration console listens on TCP 9999 by default (e.g., http://127.0.0.1:9999).
- Google Urchin Web Analytics (Urchin 5/6) used TCP 9999 for its web interface after installation.
