Synopsis

  • Apache Hadoop YARN uses TCP port 8030 by default for the ResourceManager scheduler RPC endpoint (configuration key yarn.resourcemanager.scheduler.address). This is seen in real deployments of Apache Hadoop and distributions like Cloudera (CDH), Hortonworks/HDP, and Amazon EMR, and is used by frameworks such as Spark when running on YARN.
  • SAP NetWeaver Application Server’s Internet Communication Manager (ICM) HTTP listener uses port 80 by default; therefore, an SAP AS with instance number 30 will listen on TCP 8030 for HTTP access.
