SAP NetWeaver application servers use TCP 8018 for their HTTP listener when the instance number is 18 (HTTP ports follow the 80NN pattern in SAP).
In real deployments, SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or BW systems with instance 18 expose web services and SICF endpoints (e.g., SAP Web GUI) on 8018.
SAP Web Dispatcher may also forward traffic to backend app servers listening on 8018 in such landscapes.
No widely documented hacking technique is uniquely tied to port 8018; risks mirror those of any exposed SAP HTTP endpoint.
