UDP 5072
Synopsis
- UDP port 5072 is used by AYIYA (Anything In Anything), an IPv6-over-UDP tunneling protocol.
- It was deployed by the SixXS tunnel broker, where the AICCU client (on Windows, Linux, BSD, OpenWrt, and historically pfSense) connected to SixXS PoPs over UDP 5072 to carry IPv6 through NAT.
- Although SixXS shut down in 2017, legacy configurations and documentation still reference UDP 5072 for AYIYA, and some labs or archived setups may still use it.
