Synopsis

  • Apache Mesos master uses TCP 5050 by default for its HTTP API and web UI (e.g., http://host:5050) in standalone Mesos and DC/OS-based deployments.
  • Legacy Yahoo! Messenger used TCP 5050 for its YMSG protocol; many scanners still label 5050 as “yahoo-messenger.”
  • Products that bundle Mesos (e.g., older DC/OS clusters) may expose 5050 when the Mesos master component is active.
