UDP 19132
Synopsis
- UDP port 19132 is the default port used by Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (formerly Minecraft Pocket Edition) for game server traffic via the Bedrock/RakNet protocol.
- Mojang’s official Minecraft Bedrock Dedicated Server (BDS) listens on 19132/UDP by default.
- Third-party Bedrock server software such as PocketMine-MP, Nukkit/NukkitX, and MiNET also default to UDP 19132.
- GeyserMC (a Bedrock-to-Java proxy) typically binds to UDP 19132 for the Bedrock side unless reconfigured.
- Bedrock clients on Windows 10/11, Android/iOS, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch connect to community servers over UDP 19132 by default.
- Many hosting providers and community Bedrock servers expose 19132/UDP to the internet for player connections.
- Because of its popularity, this port is a frequent target for DDoS attacks against Minecraft Bedrock servers, though it is not an inherent protocol exploit.
