  • UDP port 1813 is used by the RADIUS Accounting protocol.
  • FreeRADIUS uses UDP 1813 by default for accounting (Acct-Start/Stop and Interim-Update).
  • Microsoft Network Policy Server (NPS) on Windows Server supports RADIUS accounting on UDP 1813.
  • Network devices from Cisco (IOS/IOS-XE/ASA), Juniper (Junos), Aruba/HPE, Palo Alto Networks, MikroTik RouterOS, and Ubiquiti UniFi send RADIUS accounting to servers on UDP 1813.
  • Commercial RADIUS servers such as Radiator, ClearBox RADIUS Server, and TekRADIUS listen on UDP 1813 for accounting.
  • Large federations like eduroam use UDP 1813 for accounting between institutional RADIUS infrastructure.
