TCP 1200
Synopsis
- SCOL (the Scol language/platform) used TCP port 1200 for its client/server communications; notably, the Scol Voyager browser plugin and servers from Cryo Networks used 1200/TCP to deliver multiuser 3D virtual worlds in the late 1990s–2000s.
- Some legacy SCOL-based sites and servers (often branded “ScolBox”/Scol Voyager deployments) were configured to listen on TCP/1200 for world downloads and session transport.
- Beyond these legacy SCOL deployments, there is no widely adopted modern software commonly using TCP/1200.
